HELICOIDE / Cinco patios son el corazón del proyecto, alrededor de los cuales se conforman las circulaciones y las zonas estanciales de los vestíbulos. En un ayuntamiento, se pasa mucho tiempo esperando a ser recibido. El recorrido principal parte desde la entrada, situada como es tradicional bajo el balcón de la alcaldía, y se desarrolla girando helicoidalmente alrededor del patio principal, de manera que conecta el acceso con el salón de plenos, en la primera planta, hasta llegar al emblemático despacho de la alcaldía, en la segunda. Al exterior, el edificio de piedra caliza se integra en el entorno ya desdibujado del casco histórico dialogando de manera rotunda y masiva con la volumetría de la Iglesia.

HEILICOID / Five courtyards are at the heart of the project, around which the circulations and the lobbies are formed. In a town hall, you spend a lot of time waiting to be served. The main route starts from the entrance, located as is traditional under the balcony of the mayor’s office, and runs helically around the main courtyard, connecting the entrance with the plenary hall on the first floor, until it reaches the emblematic mayor’s office on the second floor. On the outside, the limestone building is integrated into the already blurred environment of the historic center, dialoguing in a resounding and massive way with the volumetry of the church.
