La Unidad Docente Morell del Departamento de Proyectos de la ETSAM, que coordino desde el año 2010, ha realizado estas guías-cuadernos de investigación, llamadas 14km, que recogen los estudios realizados en distintos países de África, Europa y Asia durante los años 2010 a 2019. Estas investigaciones se realizaron in situ, a través de varios viajes. La idea fundamental es proponer un acercamiento al país distinto a lo habitual, con especial atención a todos los temas más específicos relacionados con sus orígenes, su habitabilidad básica y sus propuestas de desarrollo. Los cuatro primeros ejemplares (Egipto, Kenia, Etiopía y Marruecos) fueron editados en el año 2014, pero han sido reeditados, junto con los 5 ejemplares siguientes (Grecia, Turquía, Irlanda, Italia e India) durante el año 2018.

The Morell Teaching Unit of the Building Design Department of the ETSAM, which I have been coordinating since 2010, has produced these research guides-booklets, called 14km, which collect the studies carried out in different countries in Africa, Europe and Asia during the years 2010 to 2019. These investigations were carried out in situ, through several trips. The fundamental idea is to propose a different approach to the country than usual, with special attention to all the more specific issues related to its origins, its basic habitability and its development proposals. The first four issues (Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia and Morocco) were published in 2014, but have been reissued, together with the following 5 issues (Greece, Turkey, Ireland, Ireland, Italy and India) during 2018.
